Blueberry Basil Preserve Lemon Pound Cake
Blueberry Preserve with Basil brings a fresh, aromatic twist to pound cake. The basil note keeps the dessert bright rather than overly sweet.
Ingredients
- 1 loaf lemon pound cake
- ⅓ cup Blueberry Preserve with Basil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon water
- Fresh basil, finely sliced, optional
Method
Warm Blueberry Preserve with Basil, lemon juice, and water in a small saucepan until spoonable.
Spoon over slices of lemon pound cake and finish with a few fine ribbons of fresh basil if desired.
